Adriatica for Velisti Per Caso

Adriatica is based on a former Sciomachen design, a 70' steel ketch. The design was modified to suit the specific requirements of TV personalities Patrizio Roversi and Syusy Blady, known as Turisti per Caso. Patrizio and Syusy, as Velisti per Caso, sailed around the globe broadcasting live on Italian TV. Hull and accommodation were completed by Cantiere Bugari of Fano, Italy. The rig was changed to sloop to make room for a signal mast, required to carry part of the extensive antenna array necessary to insure world-wide voice, data and video communication.
